I lasted 4 months on the 15PM and now I’m on 16P because of the size - one handed use is a non negotiable for me.

I’m really keen on the 17 Air, but it all depends on whether being think will make it possible to use it one handed (i.e. be able to reach the bottom left of the screen with my right thumb without hand gymnastics).

If so, I’ll definitely get one. First “exciting” model since the X.

I have to admit after the latest rumours of it getting a battery case as its battery life will be poorer, I'm not considering it so much. A bit pointless having a 6.7" phone with poor battery life to make it thinner.

Considering it, but will have to see the details such as battery life, etc.

The fact that it should have promotion and an AOD means I’ll consider it, but the rumor that they are bringing back battery packs for the Air makes me think there might be a battery compromise which is…not ideal

I'm interested, but waiting to see what is actually announced. AOD is a must for me (I keep my phone in front of me during meetings and need to see incoming critical e-mails, certain stock price movements, etc.) and I care about battery life and the camera, though I could make some compromises with those. With my 15P, I realized I never use my telephoto lens, although I do occasionally use the wide-angle lens and might miss that one.

What I really wish is that Apple would just make the 17P a bit thinner than they have been recently, but they seem to be moving the opposite direction.

I'm pretty sure I'm moving from a 16 Pro Max to a 17 Air. I am tired of the Pro models getting thicker and heavier, especially the rumored dimensions and weight of the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max.

I have an iPhone 6s Plus that I only use as a screen to display my blood sugar from my Continuous Glucose Meter. Almost every time I pick it up, I compare the feel and weight to my 16 Pro Max, and it immediately makes me look forward to the 17 Air.

iPhone 16 Pro Max: 163 x 77.6 x 8.3 mm (6.42 x 3.06 x 0.32 in
7.99 ounces (227 grams)

iPhone 6s Plus: 58.2 × 77.9 × 7.3 mm (6.23 × 3.07 × 0.29 in
6.8 oz (192 grams)

iPhone 17 Air (rumored): 163 x 77.6 x 5.5 mm (6.42 x 3.06 x 0.22 in)
6 oz (170 grams) or less.

If anything, the summary at the end highlights what a marvel 16PM is to cram the level of advancements over 6S Plus in only 35g. Crazy.

Nope. Not even considering it until the 18 air. I’m extremely concerned about the durability of the smaller phone. And it’s unlikely to have all the features I want.

The best camera in my phone.

The best battery life I can get

Fast charging, best screen. Etc.
