With all the pathetic sort of upgrades announced this past week,
expect nothing!!

Wow.
This post actually gave me a headache.
Were I a betting man... wait, I am a betting man! Let me rephrase this: I’ll bet you $10,000 against a box of Krispy Kremes that Apple does NOT randomly remove the T series chip from their lineup. That is beyond the pale of ludicrous. No wonder you are the only one “reporting” on this, & none of the rumor sites are.
Further... there’s this consortium (look it up!), they’re called the Unicode Consortium. They create WAY ahead of time, a list of new emojis that will be added to the Unicode standard. Then EVERY SINGLE TECH COMPANY updates their emojis to include those. Google does, Apple does, Samsung does, Facebook does, etc.
Sorry that your imaginary scenario of Tim doodling drawings on napkins, then calling meetings to say “look what I drew, let’s get these funny faces included in iOS immediately”, has no basis in reality.
I gave you a headache, lol, is ok you got me dizzy, look lord beerus, my English is not perfect but maybe you misunderstood or you simply didn't read right or while you were reading maybe you were thinking what to say back to me, if you read I mentioned that it was just a rumor, I don't own one of those machines I guess you either, so we both have to wait until someone buy one and open it so we can "confirm" find out for sure, I never say that it was like that for sure, I used the word "rumor" but you are saying that apple will never remove the T2 chip from their lineup, you can keep your "Krispy Kremes" and your 10k for now, never bet on a horse with a broken leg, why you get mad when I mentioned emojis? look man I used to defend apple but things changed and I can't defend them any more, why? because they are not the same company they used to be, I hope you understand me bit better now, sorry my grammar is not that good, this is nothing personal against you,

so don't take it personal when I say something negative about apple
I'm not saying nothing bad or negative about you

let me see if I can find you the "source" page
I really will like to hear what you have to say after that

I like apple but I don't suffer from fanaticism or from blind fate
I am realistic
it is what it is

Everyone (who cares, that is) is well aware of the situation—including Apple, who said they would be launching a new Mac Pro platform this year.

There’s no reason to “hammer” on anything at this point. It’s March, not December. Just screaming, “Where’s my Mac Pro” in every thread accomplishes nothing except to make oneself look like an entitled *******.
sorry but I respectfully disagree not completely but the Mac Pro is over 6 years old, there are no excuses for this, but there are many reasons, apple doesn't care about the Mac Pro that's for sure, they only care about everything else, but the Mac Pro is at the Botton of the priority list, let's call it what it is, it is totally unacceptable, delay after delay, every year is a new excuse and a new iPad and a new iPhone, is much better if apple come out just like Tim did and say look we are discontinuing the Mac Pro and problem solved but making false promises is not right, specially that many users that has been waiting for years. apple put the rope around their neck with this comment, "5 years obsolete rule", remember? well how many years old is the Mac Pro, but of course we get watches, air pods, iPads, iPhones every year, we all know apple is not a computer company anymore, we all know that apple only care about money and the big majority of their costumers, but the minority that still like desktop computers are not important to apple because apple is not going to make billions from them. so why waste out sweet time making a Mac Pro, right.

regards

Same here! I really wanted a new Mac Pro after owning a 2006 and 2009 Mac Pro but the processors and especially the GPUs in them were hot garbage. I can't believe that building your own computer for 1/4th the price would get you a better performing computer than a 'legit' Apple Mac computer.

The Hackintosh has easily been my favourite computer and one that's given me the most use. I've had it for 4 years now and I still don't have any plans to upgrade any time soon OTHER than the GPU (would love a GTX 1070 or something better, but my 980 is still more than adequate).
Isn’t it awesome that Apple doesn’t care if you steal their software? It’s nice that you’re able to properly show your appreciation. Good karma! :)

If it's anything like all their recent events, we can expect a lot of disappointment.
Yeah. Apple does really care about opinions of people like us on forums. They got to where they are today by listening to this kind of stuff for last 7 years

Tomorrow’s event couldn’t possibly be any less entertaining that the troll/hate posts here at the MR forums—a low bar to be sure.

At least Apple will give us some original content.
he is not the troll, you are
I finally got you figure out
you spend your time defending apple and every time someone express their opinion against apple
you replied with a personal attack against that person
just like you did to him and also like you did to me

learn how to respect other person opinions and point of view
just like I respect yours

yeah sure very original
really hope Tim falls off the stage and finally gets replace
that will be original

I will definitely clap to that
just like a sea lion

off off off gerald

well that is one way to see it
but I guess you are not seeing the other side of the coin
many hackintosh users buy apps from the apps store and also pay for services like iCloud storage etc
so don't you think that will make mr greedy Tim happy
having extra costumers without apple having to spend money to create new Mac hardware
you know how much apple loves to make Mac computers, right?

actually is not our fault that we have compatible hardware that can easily run Mac OS
we are not modifying the installer or reverse engineer Mac OS in anyway to accomplish that task

that is what is ilegal

all we need is one kext
all the other kexts are just drivers, just like any other regular system

but the topic here is not about how to get or install windows for free, right?
just in case you didn't know, apple gives Mac OS for free
while Microsoft charges for w10, that is if you never installed windows 10 when it was free
so who suffer more losses, when an user "steals" that company software
apple or Microsoft?
exactly, thank you

I can understand your frustration; the Mac Pro has been very badly handled from a product management standpoint. They’ve acknowledged they screwed up, and are in the process of fixing that. A few points:

1) Mr. Cook will not be announcing the Mac Pro is being discontinued because it hasn’t been.

2) There has been no delay after delay, Apple said Mac Pro is coming in 2019. No false promises, no new excuse every year.

3) The clock for “obsolete” doesn’t start until manufacturing has been discontinued. So the five year old Mac Pro won’t be obsolete until at least 2024.

4) Since Cook became CEO in 2011, Mac sales have averaged about $18.5 billion per year. Desktops are not nearly as popular as laptops, but they still account for $4-5 billion per year. A large chunk of that is iMac, while Mac mini and Mac Pro are at low single-digit market share.

I disagree but that is a much better comment

I apologies if I was bit too hard on you at first

I predict Tim Cook will say "We are pleased to introduce the new <fill in blank>, which is absolutely the best one we ever made." As if Apple, or anybody else, would introduce a device upgrade that wasn't as good as the last one. What would be the point in doing that?

This will be the first Apple Event that I could care less about. There's no way in the world that I would ever pay any amount of money to subscribe to those fake news outlets and it will be quite sometime before Apple can compete with Netflix, so I'll probably take a nap or clean out my sock drawer on March 25.

I signed up to go sit on the little Kindergarten stools at my local Apple Store. I don't think my head or back can take two hours of MEH. Trying to cancel reservation now.

1) Unlike you, I didn’t call anyone a troll.

2) MacOS is not free; the cost of it is bundled with the hardware. Installing it on non-Apple hardware is prohibited by the license agreement.

And really: It’s not your fault you have compatible hardware? Yikes. That’s like stealing gasoline and saying, it’s not my fault my car uses gas. How difficult it may or may not be, to use something you’ve taken without paying for, isn’t actually relevant.

3) I don’t know why you think I’ve personally attacked you; do you have me confused with someone else?
