Y'all please test it for me. I can't handle yet another disappointment, followed by a U-turn and wasted fuel / time out on the road.

Unfortunately Apple Maps for Europe (500,000,000 people) provides Satellite imagery that is over 6 (six) years out of date. About a year ago it was accurate and one day just went back 5 years. Compare with Google Earth and it is possible to determine how old the maps are. To easy place to see this are the train station areas in Florence Italy and Amsterdam Netherlands. I will note that transit information is current and good in many cities.

From my experience in Firefox/Win 7, it is alpha not beta. Complete garbage when it come to text rendering in mal and Look Around. See yourself.

Is Apple updating at all? Because what I get from this thread is:
People from the US: “Apple needs to update Maps and Look Around to be on par with other countries!!!”

So I guess Apple has fallen behind in both the US *and* other countries then?
