Hmm. Throwing ad-Homs around.

The thread is about a prediction by a leaker on how Apple can mitigate the tariffs. Who you choose to believe as far as where the potential prices of iPhones goes is up to you.
well I’ve already explained that I actually believe economists that have said the prices will go up in September
However you choose not too
So i think i will properly disengage this time

Back to the topic, Apple will and should do what is best for its bottom line. Every corporation should do that. Whether they raise prices or not we all want them to be successful so they continue to provide products we can enjoy.
As they always do look after their bottom line that is why every economist is predicting that prices will rise as a consequence of this because the money has to come out of somewhere

Exactly. Consumers think companies are going to absorb the increases but that’s not how it works. As far as work arounds I don’t think any of them would have much impact.

No one knows the future or can predict how things will turn out, is my point. Seen it here before. Apple may absorb the costs in the short run.

I understand why to a certain degree why trump is putting these tariffs on but it’s not going to ultimately work
