Upcoming MacBook Pro Models Could Feature 120Hz Mini-LED Displays

I hope they do have 120 Hertz. If they do, they are one the first on non gaming laptop screens.

anyone remember this? 10.000 hertz.

isn’t 120hz displays of lower gamut than 60hz generally? i ask as a photographer.

If you've ever used a 120/144hz monitor, you'd know that scrolling and everything is smoother compared to a 60hz screen. It is a big difference and hard to go back to 60.

i remember CRT display days. and there was a huge difference between 75hz and 60hz

Bring the iMac to the beach and power it the same way. Seems like a better statement.

That would require a generator. MBP only needs USB-C for power at 5-20 VDC, not 110 VAC to work.

I still have a hard time believing that the displays will be 120hz. Just seems like too much stuff to introduce at once.

I 100% agree with you. I skipped the 12.9” iPad Pro this year, due to this junk display tech. I am seriously not a fan of these half done LED array behind LCD panels. No matter how many LEDs in the array, it’s still not as good as an OLED, or the forthcoming MicroLED which will be like OLED, but even better!
