Sorry you've passed away.
Sorry you've passed away.
It's because it's a medical device that requires approval from the government. Blame your government, not Apple.
Returning my Series 4 because the update has not shown up yet... it is already 10:04 AM here... / s[/QUOTE
Awwwww. Didn't get what you wanted right away?
Is that a setting you can turn off or on? (Like the high and low heart rate detection features)Alongside ECG functionality, watchOS 5.1.2 introduces a new feature that will let you know if the Apple Watch is detecting an abnormal heart rhythm that's indicative of atrial fibrillation, which can be a sign of a serious health problem. The ECG feature is limited to the Series 4, but the irregular heart rhythm notifications will be available on all Apple Watch models able to run watchOS 5 - that's Series 1 or newer.
Seeing the update now. Guess it takes a bit for it to show up.Yes you should be able to go to settings - general - software update.
Yes watch app on iPhone under heart app.Is that a setting you can turn off or on?
I'm not sure, I detect a slight sign of a mental issue can you place your watch on your forehead?haha "It says I have a sinus rhythm, OMG, will I be ok?"
After I did the update I reinstalled my beta profiles without issue.Yup did the trick, thanks. Are we able to join beta’s in the future or will that make the ecg stop working?
Jailbreak? Does that still exist? Hope I just did not get your joke.Is iOS 12.1.1 required? I was hoping to stay on 12.1 with hopes of a jailbreak. Thanks
haha "It says I have a sinus rhythm, OMG, will I be ok?"
Eptopic at the end. Which are normal. Just an extra beat. Makes you feel like you’re on a rollercoaster. Movement and poor contact also seen in this trace. Take another one. Keep still and a good stable contact with the device. Movement can create unwanted artifacts. If you feel a symptom that’s when this will be useful.View attachment 808980
Found it! (Answering my own question.)
No its a hardware thing, the crown on series 4 has a sensor not on previous series.
that's fantastic. Apparently the optical heart rate monitor has a 98% accuracy in detecting afib.. I wonder if that makes the ECG function redundant somewhat.Alongside ECG functionality, watchOS 5.1.2 introduces a new feature that will let you know if the Apple Watch is detecting an abnormal heart rhythm that's indicative of atrial fibrillation, which can be a sign of a serious health problem. The ECG feature is limited to the Series 4, but the irregular heart rhythm notifications will be available on all Apple Watch models able to run watchOS 5 - that's Series 1 or newer.
That feature also appears to be a US-only thing btw. I don't see an option for it in the heart app (in Canada).Yes watch app on iPhone under heart app.
Yes. Click on the graph on your phone’s Health app and that’s where the “Export a PDF for Your Doctor” appears. I’ve already sent it to two of my doctors! ♥️Did you find it by clicking on the graph, or is there another way?
I have the same on my iPhone XS and my Series 4 Watch here in Denmark, yet no ECG on the Watch after update.
I tried restarting both, but no luck despite region and language set to US English.
OMG! Does this look normal? Followed by hypochondriac sarcastic smirk...
You can't really compare entertainment features with advanced medical features. lolApple News, Apple Pay Cash, Apple TV app, iTunes TV Shows, lots of maps features, and more none related with government. I blame Apple, sorry.
